Hammonton Health Coalition
Allies in Caring co-initiated the Hammonton Health Coalition. Our mission is to foster collaborative partnerships with private and public sectors to help all residents improve their physical and psychological health by implementing creative programs that draw on local wisdom, respect residents’ needs and aspirations, while taking advantage of Hammonton’s unique social, economic, cultural and natural resources.
Allies in Caring, on behalf of the Hammonton Health Coalition, received a grant from New Jersey Health Initiatives – the statewide grantmaking program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The intent of our project is to create a “Culture of Inclusion”. We believe that the most powerful strategy for improving health, well-being, safety, and raising healthy and productive children in Hammonton is to restore trust, build relationships, discover the gifts within every member of our community, and create opportunities to offer mutual support.
