Allies in Caring 10th Anniversary Celebration
Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate our 10th anniversary and the kickoff of Hispanic Heritage Month and Deaf Awareness Month on September 15 at our Con-Vivir Wellness Hub! It was a unique opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds and talents and create meaningful relationships!
Every year in September, we celebrate the achievements of the Hispanic and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities and their contributions to our society. It's also an excellent opportunity to increase awareness of their mental health. Their experiences are unique and complex, and their needs should not be overlooked.
Councilmen Jonathan Oliva was part of the Kick-off Ceremony, and inclusion pathfinders were honored during this day. In addition, partner organizations had the opportunity to share information about the programs and services.
It was also an excellent opportunity to learn more about the programs and services that Allies in Caring, Con-Vivir Wellness Center, The Hammonton Health Coalition, and the South Jersey Deaf and Hard of Hearing Coalition offer our community members in South Jersey.
Special thanks to our guests, attendees, sponsors, donors, and honorees; this fiesta would not have been possible without all your support. We hope to see you more often at our Con-Vivir Wellness Center. Nuestra casa es su casa! (Our home is your home!)
Thanks to @jonbradley for such amazing pictures!
